TAXES DUE

RIDGEFIELD, CONNECTICUT

The First quarterly payment for Real, Personal Property, and Supplemental Motor Vehicle taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2024 are due and payable July 1, 2025. The grace period for Payment extends to August 1, 2025 to avoid interest charges. 

You may pay by phone, text, or online using either an electronic check or a credit card for a fee. If you pay by e-check, the fee is $0.95 for your shopping cart regardless of the number of bills. Please note that online payments that are not made through our service provider must be received in the office no later than the last day to pay to be considered on time. 

FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL DOES NOT EXCUSE THE TAXPAYER FROM TAX AND DELINQUENT INTEREST. (C.G.S. 12-130)

Checks should be made payable to Tax Collector, Town of Ridgefield and mailed to P.O. Box299, Ridgefield, CT  06877-0299. Please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like a receipt. 

As a convenience, the Tax Office will be open on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
